“As 2006 rolled in, I knew I had to do something different. I was getting tired of conforming to the ‘Just Over Broke’ way of life and really wanted a way out. I wanted more — I was yearning for my piece of the pie. I also wanted to be a full-time mom for my kids. On January 15, 2006, King (Pinyin) stopped by yet again to show us this ‘phone thing’. We were pleasantly surprised at the possibilities!”
Kate Jabea-Ngwa and her husband, Chi, have been involved with 5LINX® for less than the 10 months. In seven months, she achieved Senior Vice President and has been the top producing SVP for the past two months. In addition, she was able to retire from her corporate job as a database administrator after her first eight months in the business. For Kate, this was incredibly important. “Not only have we been able to achieve remarkable income in a short time, but being able to be home where I am needed for my young children, Nicholas (9) and Abigail (3), has changed my life.”
Kate considers herself and Chi to be people-oriented. “Our families and friends mean everything to us and I feel like this is truly what I was cut out to do, to be in front of people sharing an incredible opportunity.” As Chi puts it, “it is just a matter of time before everyone will eventually get into a business model like 5LINX® and get paid literally on a portion of their bills.” They feel blessed to have seen the opportunity when they did.
While Chi is her biggest cheerleader, Kate has also found inspiration from her mother, Doris Martin. “Her unwavering love and support has allowed me to step out into the world and have the opportunity to be more. She has offered me the best she could for me to pursue the American dream. Her love as a mother is inspiring.”
As she encourages others, Kate is realistic. “The road to success may bring some discomfort; it is okay, knowing that the ultimate gain brings choices.”
Has this discomfort ever made Kate think of quitting 5LINX® ? “Quit, no way!! You must stay committed 100% to make it through. If you plan your work and work your plan, the sky is the limit. From day one when the agreement was signed I was in all the way. When you see the lucrative 5LINX® compensation plan, quitting is more than likely not an option.”
Her mindset and the focus on her goal have also helped her to succeed. “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals. For me, nothing has been qualified in my mind as an obstacle. A few challenges maybe, but with a huge ‘why’ bigger than myself, I have been quite positive and focused.”
