Hard work has never been a problem for me. I grew up watching my Mom work hard, and all of my life I was looking for something that would work for me. I was taught to discover my area of expertise and I would bloom. My Mom worked evenings, and many times we didn’t see her until the weekends. However, her principals are embedded in me unto this day — “work for yourself instead of working for someone else.” All of my life, I knew that I had only tapped the surface of my true potential. I am self-motivated. I love a challenge, and I enjoy helping others soar beyond their wildest dreams. I was looking for something that would change my life. But the funniest thing is ... I didn’t find it; it found me!
Everyone knew that I was looking for a way out of a dead end situation. One day, I got a phone call that stated that they wanted to show me something that would change my life. When I was introduced to 5LINX®, I was amaze at what I saw. The VideoPhone was incredible. He called a friend, and they talked to one another. She even talked to me. I screamed with excitement. It was fresh, it was hot, and it was new. And I knew that day that I had found a vehicle that would change my life. There is a quote that states: “opportunity is like a visitor, and you never know if it will come again.” That day I was introduced to my opportunity, and I have been running ever since.
I couldn’t wait to get home. When I introduced the VideoPhone to people in St. Louis, some were amazed. I have had a lot of sleepless nights. But, I am determined to take my family to a new level. Since I have been with 5LINX® I have come out of my comfort zone. My business was growing so fast that after four months in the company, I took a leap of faith. I quit working for my boss, and started working for myself. It was scary at first, but it was the best decision that I could have made. I couldn’t have made it this far without my family. I still am in awe at the new level that I have achieved and I’m anxiously looking forward to the future.
